Visit a delightful Greek vineyard surrounded by views of the Kefalonian mountains and learn about the Greek wine and especially then the local variety of Mavrodaphne. The 5.000 sq.m farm contains approximately 650 vines,40 olive trees and various fruit trees like orange trees,peach trees,fig trees,lemon trees,almond trees,cherry trees and walnut trees.
You will learn about the whole process from planting to harvesting of the vines. You will also have the chance to experience the rest of the trees. Some of them date back since the 1950’s.
After answering all questions,we will move to the winery to taste our naturally produced wines and local products. Each participant,is allowed a sample selection of our buffet.
Local Products will be available for purchase.
Your hosts will be Kostas Mavrokefalos the owner of the Polenta Health Foods farm and Ntinos Tsagaratos from Out Act Kefalonia, specialist in wine tasting.
